  • Detailed description

OCT-Angiography module without dye injection for the vascular and microvascular analysis of both the retina and the choroid.

The new version of the viewer is optimzed for a quick display of the retino-choroidal vascularization with 7 automatic segmentations layers in the macula area (Macula Map) and 4 segmentations in the optic nerve head region (Disc Map). Thanks to that vascular lesions are easily detected and localisated among the retinal and/or choroidal layers.
The projection artifact removal tool (PAR) avoids the hiding provoked by the vessels of the superficial and deep capillary plexus providing a better visibility in the deep vascular network, outer etina, choriocapillaris and choroid.

A quantitative analysis of the vascular network is available thanks to different numerical values. The automatic detection of the avascular central zone (ACZ) gives measures of its surface and its circularity, meanwhile both the vascular density and vascular perfusion mappings depicts vascular densification in different layers. Thus, it is possible to follow the patient over time.

The comparative imaging between En Face OCT and OCT-A in correspondance with cross-sectional images (B-scans) make a link between structure and retino-choroidal vascularization. Easy scans are both available in the different frames to analyze all the surface and in the different depths to follow the routes of both pathologic and non pathologic vessels all along the captured area.
The analyzed area is extended thanks to the automatic Panorama mode up to 12x12mm.

With the NAVIS-EX plateform it is allowed to overlay OCT, OCT-A, fundus camera image and microperimetry results to complete the analyze with a functional part.
