AL-Scan M

An essential tool for the management of myopia

AL-Scan M optical biometer measures axial length, keratometry and pupillometry. Refraction data can also be manually entered into the device to add an additional level of reading to the results obtained.

AL-Scan M device is fast, easy to use and accurate. It uses the same technologies as the AL-Scan device for keratometry and axial length measurements (partial coherence interferometry).

The AL-Scan M optical biometer allows the monitoring and management of the evolution of myopia. Indeed, the measurement of the axial length makes it possible to follow the progression of myopia and to set up appropriate actions. The clinical and scientific literature indicates that the axial length is an excellent parameter to predict and follow the progression of myopia.
