The COS-6100 is a compact unit comprising a plate table, for the instruments equipped with a RT-6100 refractor arm. The system includes an additional desk plate to support the SSC-370 optotype projector.
The COS-6100 unit is a compact and complete unit designed to fit small spaces. It includes 4 elements.
The main examination unit is a secured electrical lifting table fitted with a refractor arm and a mobile guide to install a refraction device (optional: AR/ARK, AR-F/ARK-F, Tonoref 3, OPD Scan 3). The 18 cm displacement and the small 68 cm height make possible adapting any patient’s morphology. The refractor arm is fitted on a mechanism whose height can be easily adjusted.
The back desk is included to the main unit, thus ensuring a stable distance between the SSC-370 projector and the whole set of parameters of the examination.
The SSC-370 projector can be set from 0.6 m to 1.6 m to the refractor, thus simulating a 5m-examination distance. A set or mirrors is integrated to set up the height. It is synchronised to the support of the RT-6100 refractor head so that the tests can be performed at the patient’s eyes height, thus preserving the precision of the examination.
The RT-6100 is a high-performance automatic refractor steered by a touchscreen control panel (link to product sheet).
