Green and economical tool, the LFU-220 water-filtration unit if a recycling system of edging water through centrifugation. It is used to sort the wastes and the water. It can be safely reused for the glasses. The LFU-220 filtration unit is a green and cost-saving tool.
The presence of wastes in the water is an ecological issue as it has consequences on ecosystems and on everybody’s health, all over the planet.
Because NIDEK is a major key player in edging, it takes is part to the protection of environment by creating a green and cost-saving tool.
Thanks to the centrifugal force, the LFU-220 filtration unit sorts the residues contained in water after edging. The particles are kept in a bucket and the water is filtered again using a fine mesh filter. It is then recycled to the tank to be used again.
The capacity of the water tank is 12.5 litres. This is enough to process up to 250 glasses. Both immersed pumps supply the pressure required to correctly evacuate the wastes, but also to ensure a perfect cleaning of the edging chamber, thus ensuring the durability of the edger. The opening system of the device has been designed to perform a quick cleaning and replacement of the residue bucket. A detachable handle is used to easily take the bucket out without getting one’s hands or clothes dirty.
Thanks to the handle and to the two side-attachments, emptying the tank is easy. Everybody can replace the water.
