User-friendly control box
NIDEK proposes a user-friendly control panel making possible steering intuitively the examination with one’s fingertips. The main buttons can be easily reached from the large screen to make easier the practice of refraction. The design of the new control panel has changed. Looking up for any information is simpler. As it is user-friendly, the panel proposes a main scroll wheel, right in the middle, to perform quick changes of S/C/A refraction.
Recording as ‘Favourite’ the most frequently used optotypes is possible to access more rapidly to them. Also the function ‘Help’ describes the method of the selected test to assist the operator.
Sophisticated refractor
Thanks to the design, the examination is performed smoothly for the operator’s sake and the patient’s sake, but remains very accurate. Different safety devices are integrated at the level of eyepieces to ensure an ideal convergence between near and distance visions, considering the pupillary deviation and the pantoscopic angle.
Also, a LED, easily seen by the operator, indicates whether the patient correctly sets his/her front.
Thanks to a quick, smooth and quiet replacement of glass, the operator can thoroughly perform the correction. Whatever the rotation direction of the glasses, the correction remains reliable and quick, thanks to the motors, which precisely calculate the clearance between two rotating notches.
Thanks to the large 40° vision field, the examination conditions are more natural and physiological to get results closer to reality.

The RT-6100 automatic refractor results from NIDEK know-how and technical knowledge. This new model of refractor combines smart design and user-friendliness to perform the optimal examination of the patient. It measures the refraction from -29D to +26.75D.
The NIDEK RT-6100 automatic refractor is the main element of the refraction chain. It collects data of the NIDEK refraction devices (auto-refractometer or lensometer) and communicates with the different patient management software, in a simple and quick way.
