The ICE-1500 is an automatic centering-blocking system with built-in focometer. This is a versatile device used to make workshop tasks easier by eliminating the lensometer glass-centering step and optimising the assembly workflow.
The ICE-500 is an automatic blocker, resulting from 30 years of NIDEK R&D and developed to be used in any workshop, whatever the productivity requirements and the fitter’s level (beginner or expert). Its high-technology optical system guarantees a high-precision automatic centering. The powered blocking provides rapidity and productivity to the workshop.
It includes a strong base plotter to provide an unrivalled accuracy, integrating the measurement of the face and of the frame curve.
Using these values, the centering device automatically corrects the assembly gaps depending on the frame base.
The ICE-500 has many editing functions and includes an efficient photo-imaging system to perform a digital tracing of demo gauges and glasses. The imaging system automatically detects the holes, the cutouts and Steps bevels and partial Steps. The drilling and cutting editing functions make possible standing out from competition by creating frames with a unique tailor-made shape. An editor of partial creasing/bevelling is used to perfectly adapt the edging finishes to the most technical collections, to provide a top-of-the-range result. The sport curved frames can benefit from a tailor-made Step bevel thanks to the detection provided by the photo-imaging system and to the Step editor included to the ICE-500 (edging function only available on the ME-1500).
The shape editor makes the adjustment of the glass easier, thanks to the separate modification of half-sides A and half-sides B, and makes possible marking a fixed area.
Accessing saved data is intuitive, thanks to a complete and user-friendly manager. It makes possible saving the customers’ assemblies and the different frames available in the shop, by sorting them out by collection.
