Display screen of optotypes and visual tests. Model available in polarised version (SC-1600 Pola). The screen is controlled through the control panel of the NIDEK automatic refractor or using the remote control.
Flexibility of use
The display screen SC-1600 / SC-1600 Pola of optotypes proposes a large selection of visual tests and optotypes and can adapt to any working place. Indeed, adjusting the display distance from 2.5 to 6 m is possible. Also, adding a mirror makes possible doubling the work distance, thus offering more flexibility when installing.
The high definition SC-1600 Pola LCD screen is polarised. You can perform binocular and stereoscopic visual tests using polarised filters. The model Sc-1600 can perform visual dissociation tests using red/green filters or dissociator prisms.
An essential tool
There is a large variety of tests to study all the aspects of an eye examination (ETDRS scale also built-in. The sizes of the optotypes used cover acuities from 1/25 (i.e. 0.04) to 20/10 (i.e. 2.0).
The screen brightness is perfectly controlled. The background is uniformly white, with deep blacks. The display sharpness of NIDEK screens provides sharp and stable images, any time. Sometimes, as following a cataract surgery or a refractive surgery, performing a very accurate examination of the sensibility to contrasts is important.
Integration into the refraction chain
SC-1600 and SC-1600 Pola screens perfectly integrate and synchronise with the other elements of the NIDEK refraction chain. Combined with RT-3100 or RT-6100 automatic refractors, monitoring the tests is directly performed from the control panel touchscreen. A specific remote control is used to simultaneously select the selected optotypes, to improve the user’s comfort.
