Aberrometer & topographer

The OPD-Scan III is an accurate and user-friendly complete aberrometer. It includes a touchscreen making it easier to use, daily.

VERSATILITY

An interesting feature of the OPD-Scan III is proposing the OPD (Optical Path Difference) map, creating a mapping of dioptres of the studied pupillary zone (up to 9.5 mm).

The OPD-Scan III provides a differentiated aberrometry (corneal/internal aberrations). Its acquisition principle is based upon dynamic skiascopy. This system proposes many qualitative measurements (maps of premium global aberrations, OPD map, elevation topographic map, image of the PSF, MTF graph, Visual Acuity map per convolution, ‘Day’ and ‘Night’ scene tests, assistance to the implantation of toric implants, etc.) and quantitative mentes (objective refraction, RMS values, HOA RMS values, each aberration ratio, Zone Refraction map giving the distribution of ametropias in OPD reading, keratometry, mesopic and photopic pupillometry, keratoconus detection indications, calculation of the corneal diameter, etc.).

NEW

The Corneal Score option of the OPS-Scan III is now available. This additional support tool is used to assist the clinical decision un refractive surgery. Thanks to the topography and aberration data collected by the OPS-Scan III, the Corneal Score can provide information related to starting types of subclinical keratoconus and to the prevention of the post-surgery corneal ectasia
