The YC 200 is a laser YAG designed to perform different treatments: capsulotomy, peripheral iridotomy. It comprises a LED lighting slit lamp and provides a clear and natural vision of the eye structures.
The YC-200 S Plus, YAG/SLT laser, is a user-friendly and easy to use YAG laser, thanks to its short working distances that limit the user’s fatigue and thanks to its colour-LCD control panel, providing an easy access to setting parameters. Also, it proposes a powered rudder to ensure low amplitude motions, and a back functional cursor, on patient’s side (S-switch feature), to perform a fine setting of the power, without moving the head. The user can then adjust the treatment energy without losing sight of the target, by keeping the eyes through the lens.
On a device equipped with a LED lighting slit lamp, and thanks to stable colour temperature, adapted to laser applications, viewing the structures of the targeted eye is clear and natural, with a minimum of aberrations.
Performing the focus is easy, thanks to the double-sight aiming beam that can rotate over 360°. So the user can select the better focus area, while avoiding the difficulties caused by corneal opacities.
Une fois la mise au point réalisée, il est alors possible de défocaliser le faisceau sur une large gamme de valeurs, de -500µm en antérieur à +500µm en postérieur ce qui est couramment utilisé pour les traitements de capsulotomie. Avec une variation continue par pas de 25µm, la mise au point et le traitement s’adaptent à tout type de morphologie oculaire.
When the structure to break is strong, such as the iris one in the peripheral iridotomy surgery, the Burst mode makes possible adding up to 3 laser impacts in a single shot (the button of the rudder is triggered only once). This reinforces the power of the impact so that the use is quicker and safer, as the area impacted by 2 or 3 pulses stays strictly the same.
