NIDEK was created in 1971 in Japan and was first recognised by ophthalmologists. NIDEK then extended its range of products to opticians so that then can benefit from its expertise.
In France, NIDEK SA has been assisting you since 1988. As a leader for the refraction, we have been, since 1997, the first manufacturer of compact automatic edgers with integrated tracker. Whatever the type of assembly and the materials used, our engineers work for the continuous improvement of our equipments to adapt them to small spaces. All our refraction and workshop products are designed to be both optician-friendly and customer-friendly.
We benefit from Japanese technology. We are recognised as the specialist of top of the range equipments for workshops and refraction spaces. We are pleased with the performance of our solutions, but we have also developed a set of services to technically inform, train and assist opticians and secure as much as possible the shop activity.
Our French plant was created in 1993. It is in charge of designing and manufacturing NIDEK refraction units. They are awarded the label Origine France Garantie thus ensuring a perfect traceability and proximity to our customers.
Our units are designed and manufactured for the small spaces we find in optical shops. They offer a maximal comfort to ensure high-quality measures. Our experts have taken up different challenges: integrating a multidisciplinary approach, encouraging mobility, imagining modularity and considering small spaces.
