The automatic LM-1800P/PD lensometer is a versatile device used to determine the type and the power of a glass, whatever it is fitted or not on spectacles. Thanks to many features and its measurement rate, it is an essential tool in an optics shop or an ophthalmology center.
The automatic LM-1800P/PD lensometer benefits from the Hartmann-Shack technology to perform quick and accurate measurements. Thanks to its 108-point sensor, it can determine the power of glasses by performing the measurement on an extended zone rather than on a single point, thus ensuring a result up to a hundredth of dioptre and offering the user a directional guide to make the positioning of the glass or the spectacles easier.
Thanks to the 540 nm wavelength of the green LED, resetting the Abbe number is not required, whatever the refractive index of the glass. A specific support makes possible reading the power of rigid contact lenses.
A large 5.7’’ screen displays a user-friendly interface. The LM-1800P/PD is fitted with an automatic measurement system of the glass-mounting gap, for glasses fitted on spectacles (LM-1800PD). Also, it proposes a measurement function of the glass refractive index (optional: Go-Meisan).
You can use different ports (USB, RS232C and RF45, LAN card is optional) to make connections and communicate easily with all the devices of the NIDEK refraction range.
The LM-1800P/PD lensometer benefits from many features, such as the UV transmission at 365 nm (UV A) or the green light transmission at 540 nm, and from a thermal printer. It is adapted to the practice of refraction and to the workshop.
