The Synetic unit is a translation unit available with 2 or 3 instruments and a fully automated and powered refractor arm. Thanks to this unit, the examination room is as versatile as possible: the patients and the practitioners move little inside the ophthalmology room. The Synetic unit benefits from a smart design; its bent wooden plate and the noble materials used provide a high stiffness and a unique style. The unit is a premium one. It can be equipped with heavy devices such as OCT’s or fundus cameras.
All the motions are powered and automated. So, starting both up and down motions of the plate, the translation and the tilting (optional) of the refractor arm and the lifting of the armchair are user-friendly; just press a button on the control panel.

The hybrid control panel includes different physical buttons easy to notice to the touch, to control the main motions. A touchscreen completes this set of controls. If makes possible accessing the secondary functions and all the settings of the table. To handle the unit when the plate is out, an additional control panel is installed between the instruments (2 control panels on the 3-instrument version).
The refractor arm can tilt (optional) to ensure a more natural position for near vision examinations and optimise the refraction results. A drawer unit, with its 3 large drawers, is used to store daily accessories and collyria. The plate height can be set depending on the instrument height and the specific height of the refractor arm. So the eye is at a constant height during the examination, thus reducing to a minimum the number of settings.

The displacement of the plate is extended to 26 cm so that all the patients can access the unit. Meanwhile, the practitioner is still very comfortable, thanks to the design. The motor of the plate is powerful and quiet, so the plate motions are smooth and effortless. A powered lifting desk is used to position the computer and the control-panel handling to the working height of the practitioner, whatever his/her size. Thanks to the large displacement, working standing up is possible. This position is friendly and comfortable for the back, thus preventing musculoskeletal disorders.
By reducing the physical tiredness and increasing the comfort, the Synetic excellence unit improves the efficiency of the consultation room.
