The refraction examination consists in measuring the eye refractive defect to identify, for the spectacle wearer, the best glasses, contact lenses or refractive surgery compensation. Since the creation of automatic refractors, practices have been changing, for the benefit of practitioners (safety, reliability), and patients (rapidity, comfort during the examination). NIDEK integrates to its range different models of refractors to meet the needs of vision professionals.
The refractor can be installed as usual on a consultation unit or on a supporting arm, combined with a remote optotype display system, or (this is a more innovative solution) on a compact optotype display system making possible adapting to the smallest working spaces (TS configuration).
The user of an automatic refractor can find on the control panel all the possible and required functions he/she used to find on a manual refractor.
As all the connected refraction devices of the range are user-friendly, NIDEK can assist daily each practitioner.
Thanks to automation, examinations are performed quicker.
